A 4-Step Formula You Can Use To Sell Lots of Anything

===========================================================

On Wednesday 5th April 2006 we made "...and death came
third!" by Peter Roper and Andy Lopata an "instant best-
seller" using the power of networking and good old
fashioned "ethical bribery!"

In all we sold over 2,000 books in a single day,
making more than ?30,000 in sales. That's in just
ONE DAY! And with ZERO advertising budget.

We've made 4 of our other books best-sellers since
with plans to make all 32 of our titles to date
best-sellers too - making us and our authors
mega-bucks in the process.

Now, I'm not telling you all this *just* to brag. I want
you to know that it's possible for you too. In fact,
you could follow our approach to sell anything from
CDs to seats on workshops.

So, even if you're not an author there's nothing
stopping you from using the very same approach to:
- Fill Your Next Course Up With Delegates
- Sell A Pile of Your Audio Products, eBooks or Anything Else
- Attract A Stream of New and Eager Clients
- Launch Any New Product or Service with a Bang

Bestseller and Make ?30,000 In 24 Hours here...

------------------------------------------------------

Right, enough of the build-up, here's our formula in a nutshell...

1. Have a "good-enough" product or service
------------------------------------------------------
Whether we think it's fair or not: a "good-enough" product
with "fantastic" marketing will always sell more than a
"fantastic" product with "good-enough" marketing.

So don't let your goal of creating the perfect product
distract you from your real work - selling it.

2. Get great endorsements from respected authorities
------------------------------------------------------
Do you want to know the secret to getting great endorsements?
It's really so obvious that I don't know if you'll believe me.
Just ask! That's it! Of course - it helps if you know HOW to
ask too - but that would be giving too much away in a FREE
article and I have a book to sell! ;-p

3. Offer HUGE value in relation to their investment
------------------------------------------------------
You need to offer a veritable treasure-chest of bonuses
- ebooks, special reports, audios and the like that relate
to the thing you're trying to sell. These bonuses should
combine to be worth AT LEAST as much as the thing you want
them to buy. So how do you do that? Because it won't work
if you just offer any old junk!

4. Get the sneezers to tell their mates
------------------------------------------------------
Seth Godin first coined the term Sneezers in his excellent
book, The IdeaVirus. Basically, these people love to share
news about cool stuff with their friends. If you can get
them to share your idea like, "buy my book" for instance,
then your sales will soar rapidly.

Locating sneezers requires you to understand who you're
targting and getting them onside will be easier when
you have something amazing (and huge value) to offer.

If they like what you're doing then by finding the right
20 people to help you can easily reach 250,000 people
upwards in a single day.

Spider-Man 3

Spider-Man 3
In Spider-Man 3 you'll get to enjoy being New York's favorite superhero, Spider-Man. For the first time ever, you'll also get to become his darker, more mysterious black-suited persona.Explore a larger, more dynamic New York City and experience multiple movie-based and original storylines. Choose your own gameplay in fully integrated city missions and performance rewards including improved speed, combat maneuvers and agility. Use completely revamped combat abilities as they protect the city and defeat nemeses using expanded aerial fighting, finishing moves and dynamic webbing during missions and epic boss battles.

Customer Review: Run, beat up thug, run, resuce, run, repeat.

The best thing about this game is the control scheme. Spider-man jumps and climbs and swings like a pro. It's a lot of fun to use the stylus to manipulate the web slinging, and it is very intuitive, so fighting thugs is fun and can be done in a number of ways.

The graphics are pretty good. I was impressed. It's a 2D game in a 3D world, and it feels natural to navigate through the city by web slinging.

The sound is kinda campy, but the voice acting from Toby McGuire is spot on. It's snarky and Spidy says oddball stuff at the right moments in the gameplay.

The only really complaint about Spider-man 3 is the repetitiveness. It's run, fight, run, fight, run, rescue, run, fight. On to the next level: run, fight, run, fight, rescue, run, fight. There are just over 20 chapters in the story, all consisting of a combination of run, rescue, and fight. It was like playing all of those CAPCOM games from the early nineties like "Final Fight".

There's also a gameplay mode called the "race", which consist of webslinging across the neighborhood looking for floating orbs (no reason is given for why Spidy is looking for orbs). There is a 5 second (yes, second) counter that starts and Spidy has to reach the first orb. The counter resets, and Spidy has to reach the next orb. There are usually 20 orbs in a neighborhood, and if you miss one, you start the whole thing over. Missing an orb is easy, and since you are given only 5 seconds to find it, you could restart the same level many times. I know this game mode was thrown in to offset the "Beat 'em up" theme of the rest of the game, but couldn't they think of something more original?

Customer Review: Decent

This is a solid game, just don't expect anything elaborate for a DS game. The story mode is short, but the use of the stylus in combat is cool. It is an enjoyable game.

Customer Review: Not just the drinks, but the history too

It's always a pleasure when a book exceeds your expectations, and this one was such a pleasurable surprise.

I had bought based upon a favorable review in the New York Times, but that review focused on the quality and authenticity of the recipes for tropical drinks. And, certainly, the book delivers on this.

But that's just part of the book. The rest of the book focuses on the story of how these drinks (born out of a prohibition-repeal era that was awash with rum) and their makers fueled the whole growth of Tiki Bars and eventually led to the (re-)introduction of Polynesian theming to Hawaii.

If you like light history with your dark rum, this is the book for you!

Apple MacBook Pro MA895LL/A 15.4" Laptop (2.2 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo, 2 GB RAM, 120 GB Hard Drive, DVD/CD SuperDrive)

Apple MacBook Pro MA895LL/A 15.4" Laptop (2.2 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo, 2 GB RAM, 120 GB Hard Drive, DVD/CD SuperDrive)
Stylishly and intelligently designed for mobile professionals, Apple's MacBook Pro gets a serious speed bump with the new, powerful Intel chipset (dubbed Santa Rosa), which provides a faster Core 2 Duo processor, longer battery life, and native support for 802.11n wireless connectivity. This model (MA895LL/A) also includes a new mercury-free, power-efficient LED-backlit display measuring 15.4 inches and a state-of-the art NVIDIA GeForce 8600M GT video card for more realistic graphics for animation and gaming. This MacBook Pro is powered by the new 2.2 GHz Core 2 Duo T7500 processor and 2 GB of 667 MHz DDR2 memory--the fastest portable computer memory currently on the market (June 2007). But some things haven't changed: the trademark stunning aluminum enclosure that's is just one-inch thin, built-in iSight video camera, and Apple's magnetically connected MagSafe power adapter, which safely disconnects when under strain.

This MacBook Pro measures just 1 inch thin and weighs 5.4 pounds.
Other hardware features include a 120 GB hard drive, 8x SuperDrive for burning multiple disc formats, built-in 10/100/1000 BASE-T Gigabit Ethernet for high-speed networking, Bluetooth 2.0+EDR (Enhanced Data Rate), a FireWire 800 and a FireWire 400 port, an ExpressCard/34 expansion card slot for expansion solutions such as 3G wireless networking, and a DVI video output.

Intel Core 2 Duo Processor
The Intel Core 2 Duo T7500 processor has a 2.2 GHz processor speed, super-fast 800 MHz front-side bus (FSB), and an enormous 4 MB of Smart Cache, an L2 cache that can be shared between the cores as needed. (An L2, or secondary, cache temporarily stores data; and a larger L2 cache can help speed up your system's performance. The FSB carries data between the CPU and RAM, and a faster front-side bus will deliver better overall performance.)

The Intel Core 2 Duo's 128-bit SSE3 vector engine handles 128-bit computations in a single clock cycle, accelerating data manipulation by simultaneously applying a single instruction to multiple data. And its two execution cores are designed to share resources and conserve power, helping it to achieve higher levels of performance since it uses fewer watts

The new 15-inch MacBook Pro offers a new mercury-free, power-efficient LED-backlit display with an antiglare finish that's perfect for color-minded professionals.
Display and Graphics
The 15.4-inch widescreen TFT (non-glossy) display offers a native resolution of 1440 x 900 pixels and an antiglare widescreen display that's perfect for color-minded professionals. The new MacBook Pro display is backlit by light emitting diodes (LEDs), which gives it a lighter weight and more power efficiency than the cold cathode fluorescent lamps (CCFLs) which most notebooks employ. It's also better for the environment, thanks to its new mercury-free display.

Video and graphics are powered by the NVIDIA GeForce 8600M GT card, which is boosted by 128 MB of GDDR3 SDRAM. GDDR3 (Graphics Double Data Rate, version 3) is a graphics card-specific memory technology that's better able to deliver fluid frame rates for even the most advanced games and applications. The GeForce 8600M GT brings a new level of realism to the MacBook Pro with its 16-lane PCI Express architecture, 16x full screen anti-aliasing, 128-bit High Dynamic Range rendering, and a texture fill rate of up to 8.2 billion per second.

Hard Drive and Memory
The 120 GB Serial-ATA (SATA) hard drive (5400 RPM) provides more than enough space to store business-related documents and presentations, as well as offers space for a large digital audio and video library. This SATA hard drive also quickens the pace with a higher speed transfer of data--akin to FireWire and USB 2.0. The 2 GB of PC5300 DDR2 RAM (two SO-DIMMs of 1 GB) have an industry-leading 667 MHz speed, and the RAM capacity can be increased to a whopping 4 GB.

Wireless Connectivity
The built-in 802.11n wireless networking provides up to five times the performance and twice the range of 802.11g, but it's also backward-compatible with 802.11a/b/g routers, enabling you to communicate with the a wide variety of Wi-Fi resources. It works seamlessly with the new AirPort Extreme with 802.11n. Use the built-in Bluetooth wireless technology to connect to your PDA or cell phone, synchronize addresses, or download pictures from your cell phone. You can also use a wireless headset for iChat audio chats and VoIP calls as well as quickly share files with a colleague.

Video Conferencing with Built-in iSight
Artfully placed in the display bezel is an iSight camera, which enables easy video conferencing as well as allows you to snap pictures of yourself and create video podcasts. Using the iChat AV application, video conferencing is integrated into your iChat buddy list, so initiating a video conference is a breeze. iChat also lets you hold audio chats with up to 10 people and provides high-quality audio compression and full-duplex sound so conversation can flow naturally. For video podcasting, you can record a short clip using the iSight camera, then use iWeb to create a video blog entry or post your GarageBand-recorded podcast.

Apple Innovations

The magnetically connected MagSafe power adapter breaks cleanly away, without damage to either the cord or the MacBook Pro, if you trip over the cord..
The MacBook Pro is the culmination of years of refining hardware and software design to an integrated art. One of Apple's most celebrated innovations is the MagSafe power adapter connector with offers a magnetic connection instead of a physical one. So, if you happen to trip over a power cord, you won't send MacBook Pro flying off a table or desk--the cord simply disconnects, without damage to either the cord or the system. As an added nicety, this means less wear on the connectors.

Using two-fingered scrolling, you can easily scroll around your documents or open contextual menus with one hand.
The trackpad can tell if you've got one finger on the pedal, or two. With two, you can easily scroll around your documents or open contextual menus. When you need right-click functionality, simply open ÒKeyboard and MouseÓ in System Preferences and enable the secondary click preference.

The MacBook Pro has battery life that rivals most notebooks in its class. If you'd like to make that battery last even longer, Mac OS X has a few tricks up its sleeve. Go to System Preferences, click Energy Saver, and change battery optimization from Normal to Better Battery Life. Or tell MacBook Pro to reduce its screen brightness and give yourself a little more time untethered.

And with the included Apple Remote and Front Row software, you can show off your latest photos and access your iTunes music and playlists from across the room. You can also use it to watch downloaded movies and TV episodes as well as control playback of DVD movies. The Apple Remote features a minimalist six buttons--just press the Menu button to activate Front Row and begin to navigate through your media. You can even use the remote to control Keynote presentations in iWork '06.

Customer Review: MacBook Pro

The MacBook Pro is great, looks great and works well. The only thing is the new operating system wasn't loaded to the laptop but the disk was included. Other than that, everything is great. Love it.

Customer Review: MacBook Pro

I bought this computer one month ago and the price has dropped $305! I bought an Apple for its reputation as a reliable system. This one crashes regularly, especially when I attempt to use the help function. Also, it does not pick up wireless signals unless they are very, very strong. My six-year old Toshiba works better than this machine. Definitely not worth the premium paid.

Customer Review: Average sound

Unless your laptop's soundcard is not working, or your speakers are barely hearable I wouldn't recommend this. Odds are your laptop does as much as these speakers.

It is well built, looks resistant and it does a decent job. Do not expect very good quality.

Customer Review: Like it so much bought it for a friend.

I like the sound of mine so much I bought one fo my friend for his birthday. It's not super loud but you can listen to music from your mac, with good quality. Just plug it into your USB port. My friend loves his too. He uses his all the time. Great for travel.

Customer Review: What a waste of money!

Believe it or not, they are charging $50 plus tax and shipping for a piece of plastic which won't work without the charging transformer and cables which are another extra. The Sony Ebook will charge just fine from the USB cable. Don't waste your money.

Customer Review: Product that was never received

For whom ever is listening to this, I want to say that this product was charged to my card but never received.

What Should I do?

The Sunday Salon - Cherry Cake and Ginger Beer

Sun, 06 Jul 2008 13:07:59 -0700
Yet another very busy weekend, I have the sort of life at the moment that when I look at my seven days to two pages diary you know the sort where quite a lot of space is given over to Monday to Friday and hardly any to Saturday and Sunday, I wish my diary was the other way round, with most of the space given to Saturday and Sunday, where I can scribble all the vastly convoluted miltaresque operations I have to do at the weekends. My weekdays in comparison are quite simple and hardly need any s
